1 Centenary Square is nestled between Alpha Tower and the former Birmingham Municipal Bank headquarters on Broad Street, in the heart of Birmingham. The impressive 11 storey office facilities consists of a new purpose built facility for HSBC Plc. Acivico Building Consultancy provided building control services to this prestigious development. The project has also been shortlisted for the LABC West Midlands Building Excellence awards 2019, for the category ‘Best large commercial project’.
1 Centenary Square is the first building in Birmingham to be constructed to LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) Gold Accreditation, proving sustainability is at the heart of it’s design. This statement building is now fully occupied by HSBC, providing a head office base for it’s UK bank, serving personal and business customers. The building occupies a prominent position overlooking another of Acivico’s projects, Centenary Square, due for completion in the summer 2019. Acivico are currently providing building control, project management, quantity surveying and clerk of works services to this landmark contract.
