Acivico has been appointed to handle project management, quantity surveying and clerk of works services on the £11m extension and refurbishment of North Birmingham Academy in Perry Common, Birmingham.
Due for completion in July 2024, the project involves the refurbishment of existing facilities at North Birmingham Academy as well as the construction of a new two-storey extension which connects with the existing academy building and will create capacity for an extra 300 students. The project will also create a new sports field, increasing the size of the campus to 2,500sq.m.
Appointed by Birmingham City Council, the Acivico team will work closely with architects Glancy Nicholls Architects and contractor Morgan Sindall which was appointed for the project by the Constructing West Midlands framework.
