Over the past couple of weeks Sandwell Council have completed the refurbishment of part of their ground floor offices at Oldbury, Birmingham. Providing architectural design services for the project, Acivico have supported the council to strive towards achieving their Work Place Vision. The Acivico architectural team have provided a unique design solution which has offered a collaborative and revitalised working environment for staff.
The design provides new static and agile working areas, meeting rooms, new 1-1 meeting rooms, booths and social seating areas. At the centre of the room, a central hub focal point offers a further meeting area. The feature boasts an innovative ‘collaborative wall’, which acts as a façade to existing services, whilst also influencing the core of the office area.
