Acivico are delighted to again be partnering with Sandwell MBC, on three new academies, as part of Sandwell Metropolitan Council’s schools capital programme 2019-2021.
Offering building site inspection services to Q3 Academy Langley, West Bromwich Collegiate Academy and Bristnall Hall Academy, Acivico’s Clerk of Works team will provide independent quality verification to the three schemes, which boast a combined construction value of £23 million.
Procured via the Sandwell MBC Specialist Building Consultancy Services Framework, Acivico will support the schemes to provide the community of Sandwell MBC additional teaching facilities to accommodate nearly 1,000 students, over the three academies. Due for completion in 2021, the projects include the provision of new teaching blocks with a combined gross internal floor area spanning 8,100m2. The new facilities will be enhanced with sports facilities and associated hard and soft landscaping.
Chris Hall, Acivico’s Group Managing Director said: “These awards are fantastic news for Acivico during these difficult times within the industry. We are very much looking forward to commencing these projects and capitalising on our vast experience within the local education sector. The award of these projects will further enhance our existing excellent working partnership with Sandwell MBC. The team very much look forward to supporting the delivery of these education facilities for the benefit of the local community and borough.’
