Experience

Experience spans a wide range of public sector works, including repairs and maintenance, major refurbishment projects, access schemes, preparing tenders, planning, listed building consent and defect analysis. Skilled in AutoCAD for drafting plans, with a strong working knowledge of Building Regulations gained through experience in Building Control. Strengths also include stakeholder engagement, contract management, and ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance throughout all phases of a project.

Has worked closely with education, heritage and community assets across Birmingham. Holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from the University of Wolverhampton, IOSH and FDIS qualifications, and is working towards CIOB chartered membership.

Projects

Has delivered access schemes across schools in Birmingham, including ramp installations at Banners Gate School and Walmley Infant School. Secured listed building consent and managed roof repairs at Stirchley Baths following lead theft, and more recently project managed roof works at Ward End Park House to make the building watertight and secure its long‑term future. Supports estate managers across a wide range of building types. Provides practical support and advice on repair planning, building compliance and access improvements.
