Experience

Joined Birmingham City Council in 1990 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, completing a BSc and working as a Quantity Surveyor until 2008, before moving into Project Management.

Has worked on a wide variety of schemes, including refurbishment and new‑build projects across the Council’s property portfolio, encompassing Listed Buildings and projects of varied size, complexity and value.

This includes work for Housing, Education, Sports & Leisure, Waste Management, and Public Open Space and Infrastructure projects.

Recent work has focused on the delivery of major education projects, including work with SEND schools.
