Mayfield Enabling Works

Completed in June 2020, Acivico were asked to conduct enabling works on the grounds of the old Mayfied School site.

Acivico Facilities Management Team carried out a variety of works including:

A needle sweep of site prior to any works taking place.
Removal of vegetation from site.
Clearing of vehicle ramp and assess condition of location.
Levelling off of vehicle entrance and finishing with tarmac coating.
Checking of existing drainage points to see if they were live and could be used.

These works were completed in order to provide a suitable location for a COVID-19 Test Centre in the Lozells area of Birmingham

Acivico delivered the works in collaboration with Dodds Group for an approximate value of £50,000 for the client, Birmingham City Council.
