Following the success of our large scale retrofit programme (LAD3) in Birmingham, we wanted to help grow the local supply chain to help retain wealth in the communities where we operate and enhance the social value of our sustainability projects. Associate Director Ying Mann had the vision to help local SME contractors navigate some of the barriers to entry in the retrofit market. One of the outputs from this work is a collaboration with Birmingham City Council and Department for Energy Security and Net Zero to produce a series of videos to encourage more contractors to enter the retrofit market.
